Project No. XGMF-PJ2423

Project for realization of cross-industry orchestration

Not only in the field of information and telecommunications, each industrial sector has continued to produce distinctive technologies.
In an increasingly complex society, if we cannot flexibly combine systems across industrial sectors, we may lose the opportunity to make the most of our technology.
In this project, we would like to study a mechanism (architecture for inter-industry orchestration) for this purpose, bring in a variety of systems, and demonstrate the possibilities to the world through experimental services.
In a society that feels stuck, why don't you join us to test the possibilities that could lead to a new industrial structure?

Purpose of Activity

To promote a broad understanding of open service platforms that bring new value to society by orchestrating across industrial sectors, and to find a path to social implementation.

Activities

Promote the following activities regarding open service platforms that enable inter-industry orchestration

  1. Extract broad and compelling business use cases that transcend the boundaries of information and communications expertise
  2. Examine platform architecture and define features and interfaces
  3. Promoting understanding by building a demonstration system in a bring-your-own-way format
  4. Seek collaboration with overseas organizations to disseminate information on Japan's first inter-industry orchestration concept to become a global standard.
  5. Discussion of necessary standardization activities and institutional development

Members are widely invited who are interested in the nature of such Beyond 5G demonstrations and would like to participate in discussions, or who would like to bring systems that could be components of Beyond 5G and build cooperative demonstrations together, etc.
Please feel free to join us just to participate in the discussion.

In principle, we require membership in XGMF for participation in this project.
If you are interested in attending, please contact the secretariat.
