The Future of Mobility as Envisioned by Public Transportation

The XGMF-ODAIBA IX (Industrial Transformation) Core will hold its 11th Workshop on Thursday, January 15 at Hybrid.
*Part 2 will not be available online. Please note that the second part will not be available online.

The "future of wireless (mobile communications) in mobility" is often headed by the optimization of transportation (V2X: Vehicle to Everything) using high-speed, high-capacity, wide-area, low-latency 5G/6G communications, but this is only from the perspective of the communications industry, However, this is only the viewpoint from the telecommunications industry and not a request from the main actors of mobility (the transportation and logistics industry). The main question is what kind of near future the user company as a subject envisions, or what kind of mobility future the end-user beyond the user company expects. Therefore, the purpose of the workshop "The Future of Mobility Envisioned by Public Transportation / Fusion of Advanced Industrial Technology and Advanced Telecommunication Technology (IX)" to be held on January 15 is to listen carefully to their use cases and requests using telecommunications.

Of course, some concepts and services will emerge only when public transportation agencies themselves have a technical understanding of 5G/6G, so this workshop should be a place where new ideas can be generated through interactions that include these areas as well. Of course, the voices of end-users beyond public transportation (e.g., Shinkansen's WiFi is useless) can also provide important suggestions for the future of public transportation. Anyone can participate in the live webcast (Part 1) that will be held at the same time. Please register. Free of charge.
