Information from Tokyo Metropolitan Government.
This presentation will introduce the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's initiatives for the development of 5G areas.
Flyer (Rooftops of buildings, etc. as potential locations for cell phone base stations!)
The Tokyo Metropolitan Government is working to promote the development of a high-frequency band 5G area in order to quickly realize a "Tokyo" where all people and goods are "connected" to the network at any time, by anyone, anywhere, no matter what.
Rooftops of buildings, condominiums, and other mid- to high-rise structures have potential for use as candidates for antenna base station locations. For this reason, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government is promoting the development of the telecommunications environment by seizing opportunities for building construction, etc., and supporting information coordination and matching with telecommunications carriers.
We appreciate your cooperation in registering information on buildings and other construction properties as locations for cell phone base stations.

■ Notes
*Because the consideration and decision for base station development is made by the telecommunications carriers, there is no guarantee that they will receive base station development or usage fees through this project's matching support.
*The purpose of this project is to promote the development of high-frequency band 5G areas through base station development on the part of telecommunications carriers, and is not intended to support matching with telecommunications carriers for the development of priority Internet in buildings.
