CEATEC2025 "5G/6G Special Day II

2025.10.06

At CEATEC 2025 (October 14 (Tue.) - 17 (Fri.)), the XG Mobile Promotion Forum (XGMF), the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC), and the Association of Radio Industries and Businesses (ARIB) will co-host the "5G/6G Special Day II" for two days on October 15 (Wed.) and 16 (Thu.). The event will be held on October 15 (Wed.) and 16 (Thu.), 2012.

Day 1 (Day 1), titled "Evolution and Prospects of 5G/Local 5G," will consist of three parts with presentations from experts, subtitled Session 1 "Domestic and International Status and Prospects of 5G," Session 2 "Industry DX Promotion by 5G/Local 5G," and Session 3 "Further Development of 5G with Millimeter Wave, The objective is to appeal to the audience that 5G/local 5G and millimeter wave have entered the development stage, and to trigger further promotion and monetization.

The second day (Day 2), titled "5G Advancement, 6G Latest Status and Outlook," will consist of three sessions, subtitled Session 4 "Beyond 5G(6G) Global trend," Session 5 "6G and AI," and Session 6 "6G Strategy Session," in which experts will give speeches and panel discussions. and panel discussions will be held to disseminate information to various industries related to 6G.

Although 5G is characterized by ultra-high speed, high capacity, ultra-low latency, and multiple simultaneous connections, transitional methods such as NSA (Non-Stand Alone) were the norm in the early stages of deployment and did not fully demonstrate performance. Today, SA (Stand-Alone) deployment is progressing and there are signs of development in the use of millimeter waves. In this session, the future growth and challenges of 5G, which is changing phases, will be presented from the perspective of operators and vendors.
