MoU between XGMF and NGA of the U.S. signed and workshop held

The XG Mobile Promotion Forum (XGMF) has signed a MoU with the Next G Alliance (NGA), which is responsible for promoting 6G in North America, to deepen collaboration between the two countries on Beyonad 5G/6G initiatives.
In conjunction with the MoU signing, a workshop for 6G collaboration was also held.

Contents:

(1) Conclusion of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)
The MOU aims to foster collaboration between the two organizations in the development of innovative mobile communication solutions for the Beyond 5G/6G era. It was signed by XGMF co-chair Professor Akihiro Nakao of the University of Tokyo and NGA Managing Director Jaydee Griffith.

(2) Introduction of NGA and XGMF
Each organization gave an overview of their activities.

(3) Introduction of technical studies on 6G
Both parties provided the following explanations on the current technical considerations regarding 6G.

(4) Discussion on future collaboration
XGMF explained Japan's "6G Position Paper" and NGA explained "Enabling Vertical Industry adoption in 6G" and exchanged opinions on future collaboration.
As a result, it was confirmed that the following topics will be prioritized for further collaboration
